As per title, there are several recipes I've tried that calls for cooking the rice with protein on top of it (usually chicken). I follow the recipe exactly and my rice ends up undercooked (whether it's on baking dish in the oven or normal cooking on stove top). I've tried adding a bit more water but it still ends up undercooked but then if I add more it ends up mushy.
What am I doing wrong?
Sometimes I see recipes that look really good but I'm a bit traumatized now after several tries and the food not coming out well.
