First time making Greek tzatziki sauce. Is it okay not to drain the liquid from the cucumber, and also use garlic powder instead of cloves?

First time doing this. It's just for me though, not for a crowd or anything.

I planned on just adding diced cucumber to the Greek yogurt without draining the liquid and also subbing garlic power instead of cloves.

Is this going to ruin the consistency completely?
