How do I turn mascarpone into *mascarpone*? 🤌🤌🤌

This post's title is probably quite confusing, so let me explain things: Mascarpone is this fluffy, sweet cheese that you often find in Tiramisu. Today, I found a large tub of mascarpone at the store, and bought it, thinking that it would be a great addition to my cooking.

However, this mascarpone is... butter. It isn't fluffy, it's dense like butter, and it kind of even tastes like unsalted butter.

I tried searching online how to turn my mascarpone tub into the mascarpone that I love. But unfortunately, google, being as terrible as it is, is exclusively only showing me posts and articles about how to make mascarpone at home. I don't want to make my own mascarpone, I already bought a tub at the store! I want to know what kind of process this store-bought mascarpone needs to undergo to be turned into proper mascarpone.

Please help me! I've been forsaken by my search engine.
