Gf tried to melt/soften our leftover queso blanco in the microwave, I tried to save it but instead turned it into an unholy cheese abomination that may turn into a new life form, is there any way we can salvage this?
Here’s a link to a picture of what it looks like currently, it still tastes like queso blanco now, just not as spicy since it was diluted and also with a different, kind of weird texture. What happened was I attempted to rebind the fat to the cheese by putting it to simmer on medium again, adding more cheese, and then adding corn starch, evaporated milk, and half and half as emulsifiers. ATM I’ve decided to just leave it alone in case it rectifies itself, may post updates. Does anyone have any advice?
