How to make a vibrant green kale/spinach puree?

I saw on Australian masterchef a bright green kale puree, and I am wanting to recreate it! There seemed to be a specific process of cooking and blanching the kale to ensure it kept a vivid green colour, rather than a dark/muddy shade. I feel like I’ve seen this done with basil/spinach also, but I googled and all that came up was baby food recipes😂
