Decades ago, one of the name-brand zipper lock plastic storage bags manufacturers (can't remember which one) sold bags that were perforated, dozens of little slits maybe a 1/4" long.
These bags kept washed produce fresh for an insane amount of time. I suppose they allowed a perfect balance between humidity and air flow. I only remember the product being on the market for a year, maybe a little longer.
Does anyone remember these? Know why they were discontinued? Is there a similar product on the market, today?
