I’ve been doing lots of middle eastern dishes recently and many of them call for “mint”. However, there’s lots of spearmint being sold as mint in my area and I haven’t understood exactly the difference between the three (mint/spearmint/peppermint).
I’m not sure which one is the right one to use when a recipe calls for simply “mint” since all three of those have the word in their name.
Would appreciate some clarification on this!
