How to salvage undercooked potato salad

My buddy made a big batch of potato salad but the potatoes are undercooked and a bit crunchy in the middle. I understand that it can be dangerous to eat undercooked potatoes. Is there any way to save it? Spread it our on a cookie sheet and bake it? It was made with mayo, mustard, relish, and I think celery
