Can you put chocolate and warm milk in a blender to make chocolate milk?

I know not to put hot liquids in a blender because it explodes and sprays liquid everywhere. At least, it's happened to me before. But, can you put warm milk and chocolate to make chocolate milk?

Will the chocolate stick to the sides of the blender and not incorporate in the milk? Will warm milk melt the chocolate enough or does it have to be hot?
