Im trying to learn how to make good churros for bit of time but 70% of the time i be having trouble with it
The most main problems i been having with it :
1 after frying the churro it sometimes feels its hard like its all crispy all the way for the out side to the inside ( like a rock)
2 after frying the churros the out side looks perfect but in the inside taste like the dough isn't cooked (raw)
3 it took long time to cook
I don't know what's the problem anymore
the Ingredients:
1 liter of water
600 gram of all purpose flour
12 grams of slat
And bit of olive oil just to make the dough smooth
The recipe :
I bring a larg Saucepan and put the flour and the salt and stir for bit and put them on low to medium heat to the mix reaches 45-55 C⁰ and put it a side
I boil the water to 100C⁰ and put it on the mix and stir to make the dough and put some olive oil to make the ingredients come together easily
After stirring for seconds i put them on the table and i put some olive oil on my hands and i keep stirring the dough with my hands while it's hot to couple seconds to see the dough look good and not very much clean and it doesn't sticks on my hands
I put it to rest to 10 - 20 min and even can go more
After the dough rest it will make a solid layer of dough i remove it and keep moving the dough for cuple sec again and put it in churro filling gun and fry on 175-190 C⁰ and use some tissue to remove the oli but sometimes i face those main problem any help or advice i can use ?
