Revolutionizing Ribs? 425 One Hour No Marinade Needed

I put 500g of unseasoned back ribs in the oven at 425° Fahrenheit. After an hour, they were tender and juicy. I simply season them with smoked salt: done. If anyone wants, they can pour some sauce on top. I don't see the need for hours of marinating and slow cooking. What am I missing?
