Why do recipe videos use such a small amount of salt?

As we know, the key to strong flavor in a recipe is a healthy (or maybe not so healthy) presence of salt. But in so many recipe videos, when they add the salt it's a small pinch. Assuming they're using Diamond Crystal or something similar, that amount is not nearly enough to season such a large dish. Thoughts?
