Gummy bear fruit flavoring

My goal is to make apple/apple juice flavored gummy bears. (Ingredients: glucose, sugar, gelatin, sorbitol, citric acid, flavoring) I’m debating whether to bloom the gelatin in apple juice directly or not. The alternative would be blooming using water, then mixing the apple juice in with the glucose/sugar mixture and combining at that point. Any suggestions appreciated!
