Wrong Flour in Turnip Cakes

I'm a pretty experienced home cook trying to make turnip cake for the first time. I don't know WHY I assumed the rice flour in the recipe was sweet rice flour instead of regular rice flour, but I did.

I don't want to waste the ingredients, but there's a whole lot of weird happening here. Weird, uncooked, goopy texture. Weird, raw rice flour flavor. And its been steaming for a couple of hours so far.

I'm on a budget and don't waste food. Any ideas to make this...better? (Not turnip cake - that ship has sailed, I think...but edible?) Would it be insane to let this cool and then try to pan fry or even deep fry chunks of it? Thanks for any ideas!
