Hi! I’m visiting family and we planned on smoking a brisket this weekend. We went to the store to get our brine materials and realized that didn’t have apple cider. We grabbed sparkling apple cider—cause why not.
I know that carbonation can impact the behavior of a recipe when being cooked with, but will it make much of a difference as a brine 24 hours before smoking?
