How can I use cocoa nibs other than making chocolate?

I feel a bit dumb right now, but last week I bought 1kg of cocoa nibs on impulse. Just don’t ask why. As much as I like to eat them as a snack, I'm pretty sure I won't be able to finish a huge-ass package just like that because they are slightly sour and everyone in my family hates the taste. So the question is that how can I justify this stupid decision? I have all the basic utensils at home and I’m a kinda sloppy home-cook. The only thing I can think of is making chocolate and I have read some recipes but I found the whole process really boring so if anyone has any other ideas I would like to hear them.
