Cutting technique

Hey gang, just purchased a Wusthof Ikon after using a Zwilling Vier Sterne for some time. I’m finding that as I’m doing fine work (thinly slicing onions etc) with the tip of the blade it’s veering to the right. I find it hard to believe that it’s a problem with the blade itself, do you guys think it’s most likely bad cutting technique (perhaps not actually cutting straight) that a new/more accurate knife is highlighting? Tell me what you think!
