I recently bought a Mercer blade guard to protect my 8" chef's knife, which I intend to put into a storage drawer. I noticed that there is no "stop" at the top that there is potential for the blade to ride up and poke out. I worry that motion of the drawer over time may cause it to do so and that it could catch someone unawares. Is this how all blade guards are designed? If not, could someone recommend a brand that would contain the tip of the blade? Thank you!
