My parents gifted me a wooden cutting board recently, and when I washed it (after cutting only veggies on it) it smelled strongly of fish. Have now washed it a second time and it still smells strongly of fish. Is it safe to keep using? My parents don’t know who the maker is, so we can’t ask them any questions.
