I've always wondered and now since it's my situation I would like to know the answer to this.
I have a turkey from the butcher shop. It went in my freezer on Dec. 23. Expiry, use by date says Dec. 25.
Considering that the turkey will take 3-4 days to defrost and then I dry brine for a 2-3 days am I stuck with a bird that is too dangerous to eat?
What's the protocol here and in these cases?
