Im making pizza for the first time, and I followed a recipe online and put the recommended 300g flour, 300ml water, and 5gr yeast for the poolish. The video recipe said the poolish would almost double in size. It ended up almost tripling in size and spilling out of my container.
The only differences I made from the video were that I used sugar instead of 5g of honey and I used lukewarm water instead of room temp water like the chef in the video did. Could those things affect the dough and if so is there a fix?
