Banana pudding tastes like Korean steamed eggs

I decided to make a banana pudding with leftover bananas I had following this exact recipe: https://youtu.be/p7olq1Af6lE. Only thing I did different is that instead of steaming it, I put my mixture in an oven at 350F for around 45min. End result was... nothing like I expected. It tastes more like banana flavored Korean steamed eggs (계란찜) rather than a pudding. I'm wondering if it's supposed to be like that (I doubt it) or if I did something wrong.

Can anyone help me figure out what I did wrong that gave my pudding this weird texture?
