Roast chicken in Dutch oven

I have a 4.15 lb chicken dry brining in the fridge right now. I want to make a roasted chicken tomorrow night. I have some baby potatoes and carrots.

What is a good method to get crisp skin, as well as perfectly cooked vegetables in the bottom of the Dutch oven?
