So I'm making buttermilk marinated roast chicken (yes Samin Nasrat's recipe), and it been about 16 hours since I started marinating it, however some plans have changed and I'm going to have to pivot, cooking the chicken tomorrow. Will over marinating the chicken for about 2 days instead of 1 have any detrimental effects I should know about? Is there a way to counteract that?
