Want to reverse sear a pork sirloin tip roast. Can I skip the pan and "sear" it in a very hot oven?

My stovetop is busted and doesn't put out a ton of heat. My oven does go to 550°F though. Swear I read about finishing in a very hot oven but I can't find that recipe anymore.

Plan is to coat in seasoning, place in a roasting pan on top of potatoes and carrots, cook at 250°F until probe thermometer says it's 121°F, then rest for 45min, then "sear" in a 550°F oven for 7-10min, or until the internal temperature is 145°F.
