How to efficiently dry out a large quantity of shredded potatoes for hashbrowns?

I want to freeze a bunch of shredded potatoes so that I can do prep once, and have say 5 servings of shredded potatoes stored in the freezer. That way I can just throw some in a hot skillet and save myself some time. I can dry out 1 serving of shredded potatoes with a few dish towels fairly quickly, and the hashbrowns won’t end up wet. But I can’t think of a way to do a large amount at once. Anybody have any advice?
