I recently purchased a new jar of coconut oil (expiring in late 2023), but found out i have another old jar (expires in a month) which has been sitting in my cupboard for quite a while. I put them side by side and noticed while the old oil is smooth and dense the new one is foamy with big bubbles. Any ideas to why is that? Any help is appreciated.
