What can I do with excess Thai chilies?

The local Asian grocery only sells Thai chilies in ~1/2 lb packages. I usually only need max 5 of them for whatever dish I'm cooking. What can I do with the rest so I don't end up tossing them. Any sauce I can make? Or pickling to preserve them? Can I freeze them? I can just never see myself using the whole pack before they go bad. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
