I want to ferment a rice smoothie. It would be much more convenient to blend water with uncooked rice and cook it in a pan. then wait for it to cool down before adding a starter culture and putting the pan in a warm place.
otherwise I will have to cook the rice then transfer all the rice into a separate pan then blend the rice portion by portion and put it back in the original pan. my blender isn't very big. its just a NUTRiBULLET.
I know that I will have to make quite a watery smoothie rather than a purée. I'm wondering if boiling it for 10 minutes will be enough to destroy the substances which are harmful in uncooked rice.
