Bought a beech cutting board from IKEA the other day and treated it with some wood butter but it still FEELS dry even though it doesn't look dry anymore, what should I do?
I only bought a small amount of premade wood butter and I've already used up half of what I have. I'm thinking of buying a large bottle of mineral oil and let that do most of the work before I finish with wood butter (or just use mineral oil all throughout). But maybe I'm just overthinking it because it doesn't feel as smooth as I thought it would?
Anyway, how do I know if it's saturated enough and if I AM right that it needs more treatment, what should I use/do?
