This recipe calls for cauliflower to be roasted on its own for a bit, then tossed in a mixture of miso, maple syrup, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic.
What would you call that mixture? A glaze? A sauce? It is quite sweet from the maple syrup so it does develop a bit of a sheen, but I don't feel confident in "glaze". And sauce to me doesn't feel right because for some reason I don't believe that veggies are roasted in sauce? What is the proper terminology here?
