My chicken taste bland inside but perfect outside what should I do for next time

I used brown sugar rub with other seasonings and marinated my chicken for around 30 mins. I used coconut oil as my main oil. Did the front side on high for 4 mins as my pan was about to burn. I flipped it over on low for 15 mins. Added garlic, thyme rosemary and butter and let it sit with the pan on. After 15 mins I took it out and let it sit for 3 mins. After that I took a bite and the outside was good but the inside was bland asf. What do I do to make the inside taste good?
