How do I make my beef taco meat saucy?

You know how when you buy that package of taco seasoning, you cook beef, add water, add seasoning, and simmer? It makes saucy tacos. How can I make saucy tacos from scratch? Adding just water and seasoning doesnt make them saucy. The beef just ends up... wet. #tacotuesday
