Instead of infusing rum with vanilla bean, can I pour in some extract or vanilla bean paste? Would it be pretty similar? I only need about 8oz for butterbeer so I don't want to buy a bottle that I won't finish or waste a pod. It's also in a few days so it's probably not enough time to infuse anyway...
