Heated empty nonstick pan

I guess I’m the last person in the world to know you’re not supposed to heat an empty nonstick pan.

I left an empty titanium nonstick T-fal on the burner for a few minutes before adding food and eating it. There was no gas, smell, or fumes, and the pan didn’t appear to be damaged or warped at all.

It was on medium heat on an electric stove for a few minutes.

So, am I doomed? I’m only really concerned because I was breastfeeding my son and know PFAS can transfer through milk. Is it only a major concern when gas is emitted? I’ve since thrown away the pan and replaced all of our nonstick with ceramic.
