Granola bar recipes always call for lots of honey. What can I use instead so that it won't fall apart?
Not maple syrup because that shit's even more expensive than honey. I read that molasses can be used, but it's also pretty pricey. Would a simply syrup work? Maybe just sugar? What can you use to make stuff stick together?
(I'm using a recipe that requires baking, one that's just oats/chocolate/marshmallows and another one that's oats/dates/almonds)
