I’m doing a cooking date with someone and am going to be sous-viding some steaks while we prepare the rest of the meal. I chose a pretty conservative menu: beet and citrus salad, followed by steak, roast potatoes, and green beans à l’almandine.
However, I have two different steaks in my fridge to choose from: some 6 oz filet mignon and some 10 oz strip loin steaks. I was planning to do the filet mignon, but the steaks look fairly small and I’m just wondering if that’ll be enough food. Which should I prepare?
