Question about cooking eggs: temperature, food safety, texture.

Is there a temperature point at which eggs will have reached the point of killing off any potential microbes, but still have yolks that are in any way liquidy? Some equivalent of medium-well in steak? Or does the temperature that eliminates all possible microbes result in a hard-cooked yolk?
