Does pork have a slight smell?

Everywhere I look online says pork should not smell, at all.

If it's bad, it will have a strong odor.

But everywhere I've purchased pork, local meat counter, Aldi, Target, etc, it all has a slight odor to it. Not a good odor either, but you cannot smell it unless your nose is an inch away.

So what gives, is all the pork sold near me bad, or does odor of meat mean noticeable, like if you open a flat pack, it will smell without even trying?
