I have a bag of raw green pumpkin seeds that I refrigerate tightly. Trying to eat them raw resulted in a bitter aftertaste, but only if I eat multiple at once. Not sure if it’s true but I heard some seeds or nuts taste bitter if they’re raw, so I decided to cook them with olive oil on a pan. The bitter taste was quite unnoticeable , it tasted nuttier and for whatever reason had sour hints, but overall good. Are these still good to eat or they’re rancid
Tldr; raw pumpkin seeds have a bitter aftertaste if eaten multiple at once
Cooked? Bitter taste not noticeable
