Best way to store hot Gumbo?

Hello everyone. I am making some chicken and sausage gumbo for my friends. I would like to put the hot gumbo in quart containers and then put them in my ice chest to deliver. My goal is to keep the gumbo warm for about two hours. Should I buy the quart containers in styrofoam or plastic? I would like them to be disposable. Thank you.
