Hi guys,
Disclaimer: Not that it really matters to the question, but I do enjoy cooking. I wouldn't consider myself a professional by any means, but I certainly know my way around a home kitchen and enjoy cooking when I end up cooking.
Anyways!
So every now and then I find myself with leftover Chicken Piccata, or a dish with similar sauce, from a restaurant that I take half home afterwards.
The sauce is always nice and creamy when it is served fresh, but when heated with a microwave the oils in the sauce separate and the dish becomes an mess of oil and noodles.
I was just wondering what a better way might be to heat the leftovers so that the sauce somewhat says more intact? Would heating it gradually, like you'd try to do with a stick of butter (until it melts completely anyways haha) do the trick? Not sure if there are anyways to save the dish.
Thanks in advance for any tips, I'm eager to learn!
