my dad gave me 12 pounds of dried of dried cherries.... What do I do with them?

Someone my dad knew had waaaaaaaay too many dried cherries and was giving them out. I said I'd take some of them but now have no idea what to do with them. I put some in wild rice but now what? Especially looking for non desert ideas.
