How to get inside marinade to cook on chicken

I marinate my chicken tenders in spiced buttermilk. Then i coat the chicken in spiced flour. When i bake it, and check it to see if its cooked i notice that i can still still the marinade(its pinkish red because of the paprika i put) and i dont know to get the marinade to cook. The outside cooks faster and will eventually get burnt and the raw(i'm guessing) marinade will still be visible. Should i not worry about it or is there something that can be done. \

Should i towel off as much of the marinade as possible before i coat the chcicken in flour?
