How Can I Make These Crab Rangoon’s Filling Better?

I made a batch tonight and used water to seal them and no egg at all. I used an air fryer and did 350 for 8 mins which was a perfect amount of time to make them crispy.

My question is what can I do to make them have a more flavorful taste?

The only thing I have going against me is that I used imitation crab. Other than that I followed the recipe. They just kinda taste like “fried” with cream cheese and not much else. Can’t taste the “crab” or anything else in it.
