Is Fez still the most innovative modern 2D game?

Don't get me wrong, there are tons of amazing and arguably better 2D platformers that have come out since Fez released, but is there anything as innovative.

Fez which released in April 2012, completely changes the way 2D environments function as a seamless gameplay mechanic, and the exploration and puzzles play primarily with this element, though not exclusively as some puzzles have you scanning codes with your phone (it was 2012), or decoding an alien language to name just a couple. And beyond the depth of the exploration and puzzles, the game feels fairly ahead-of-its-time in its minimalist design and instructions.

I can think of several modern 2D games that have taken ideas and played with them or improved upon them; such as Katana Zero, Celeste, Noita...

But I can't think of anything released since Fez that is a completely unique and original way of playing a 2D Platforming game.

I can think of two that might come close in terms of their innovative use of the genre, but I don't think they quite stack up to the sheer genius of Fez's massive and cohesive design:
