Cooking fermented sauce

I screwed up. I thought I would try one of my favorite hot sauce recipes, but switch it up and use a jar of habaneros and ghosts that I've had fermenting for the last month. I was on autopilot and added the 1/4 cup of brown sugar that I typically add when using fresh peppers.

I would like to cook the sauce to kill the lactobacillus before it starts to ferment again, but I have a toddler and wife in the house so boiling it is a very bad idea right now. Would there be a way to bake it? Or cook it overnight in a slow cooker? Would it still kill the fermenting bacteria?

Thanks in advance!
