So I'm about to dry brine my turkey, and I thought I had bought kosher salt but apparently I forgot it. All I have in the house is pink Himalayan salt. Will this work for a dry brine? Should I used more/less? I can't go to the store till morning and I really wanted to get the turkey dry brining tonight so it can sit for a good 36 hours in the fridge. Any help is appreciated!!
