Milk Candy

1 can of sweet condensed milk 1 cup sugar 2 tablespoons butters Get to 450 degrees.

I'm trying to make milk candy which when you bite isn't sticky. It's usually called leche quemada but I think milk candy is the closest to it. This is my third try and it's just extremely sticky. Milk candy usually has a soft bite to it. Do I need to let it reach a different temperature. The 2nd time I got it to a thicker consistency but I think it was too long because it became hard as a rock.
