I made a grave mistake, I need help with my Masa for tamales

I'm making chicken tamales for my kosher friend and I decided like a dumb dumb to pick up some shortening and instead got lard. So I substituted it with 4cups of oil to 7 cups of the corn flour and whatever else according to the instructions (maseca tamal gluten free instant corn masa). Once I did the float test the mofo sunk like the titanic!! I added more fat, more chicken broth (homemade) and nothing. I tried thinning it down with more water and still nothing even added more flour. I'm frustrated. What am I doing wrong? How can I fix this?
